This IJFTC program celebrates the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Africa through captivating performances and showcases. Attendees will be treated to an array of traditional music, dance, and theatrical displays representing various African countries and ethnic groups. From the mesmerizing rhythms of West African drum ensembles to the graceful movements of South African gumboot dancing, each performance will transport the audience to the heart of Africa. Renowned artists and troupes from across the continent will take center stage, providing an authentic and immersive experience of African culture. Through these performances, visitors will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the artistic expressions that form an integral part of African identity.

Global Marketplace
and Artisan Village

At the heart of the IJFTC 2024 lies a bustling marketplace, bustling with vendors offering an assortment of handcrafted treasures and delectable treats. The Global Marketplace and Artisan Village invite visitors to embark on a sensory journey, exploring the vibrant colors, textures, and flavors of Africa. Artisans and traders from different African regions will showcase their craftsmanship, displaying exquisite pottery, intricate beadwork, stunning fabrics, and other unique creations. Festival-goers can shop for one-of-a-kind souvenirs and immerse themselves in the diversity of African artistry. Alongside the handicrafts, the tantalizing aromas of African cuisine will waft through the air, with an assortment of street food and traditional dishes available for a delightful culinary adventure.

Interactive Workshops
and Cultural Education

As part of the IJFTC 2024’s commitment to cultural exchange, interactive workshops will be offered, providing attendees with an opportunity to actively engage with various aspects of African culture.
